Handmade Calendar!

Here is a calendar that I just finished making! 

I took the front image from an ad in Vanity Fair.
To make the cover durable, it has been reinforced with packaging tape.  

I started with this template of squares, and made double sided copies of it at Kinkos.  

Then I added dates, days, months, and a pink strip along the sides!  

Next, I sewed up the spine with some embroidery floss and a large needle.  It held together pretty well.

And I taped the last pages to the cover with some masking tape.

It turned out pretty well.  I'm all ready now to face the New Year!!!
