Fun with MacBook

(if only marriages to laptops were legalized.......I guess that for now I will have to settle for living in sin with my MacBook!)

Maybe nothingness is to be without your presence,
without you moving, slicing the noon
like a blue flower, without you walking
later through the fog and the cobbles,

without the light you carry in your hand,
golden, which maybe others will not see,
which maybe no one knew was growing
like the red beginnings of a rose.

In short, without your presence: without your coming
suddenly, incitingly, to know my life,
gust of a rosebush, wheat of wind:

since then I am because you are,
since then you are, I am, we are,
and through love I will be, you will be, we'll be.

Art Court

Here are some of the beautiful arts and crafts booths who I have been selling with at the Beaverton Art Court.

Today we had beautiful 80-degree weather and many of us sold very well!

This is such a beautiful colorful display of hair clips!

Zoe's wedding present

This is a pillow that I made for my friend Zoe who is getting married in August.

I used a fabric pen to write her and her fiance's name into the fabric.

This is my first attempt at a pillow in quite some time, so I am pleased with the way that it turned out. The shell is removable, so that it can be washed.

Here is the pillow that inspired the design.

Bible Bag for Andi

In the past two months I have come into the acquaintance of Andi since she sells photography at the Art Court in Beaverton.
Andi needed a new bag for her Bible and so asked me to make her one!

These are the two bags that I came up with (slightly varying in size)

And here is Andi, looking very happy with her new Bible Bag!

This is the *awesome* picture that Andi traded for the bag! Skittles, I love it!

See this photo? See me over on the far right with the funky facial expression? Guess what I'm eating? That's right, SKITTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
